  A two sided pub, the bar area is large and almost feels like someone's front room whilst the lounge area is full of comfortable seating and tables.
  
  The reason we were in this pub was because it served real ales, Landlord beer was on offer as well as a few others, and I had an Appletise.  It had a nearby carpark, and also is walking distance from the town centre and bus station, and would be a good stopping off point after a walk along the river.
  
  The pub is part of the Sir John Fitzgerald group, and has a locally sourced food menu.
